CHICAGO — Chief Keef does not like "Da Popo."
The 17-year-old Englewood rapper was not pleased with the release of a video showing his exchange with arresting officers on the Edens Expressway Monday.
"F**k Da Popo," the 17-year-old Englewood rapper tweeted from his popular handle @ChiefKeef Thursday. The Tweet linked to a police dashcam video of his arrest posted on worldstarhiphop.com, adding in another Tweet, "WorldstarHiphop.com I didnt Kno police Can do dis Doe."
Officers clocked Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, driving 110 mph in a 55 mph zone on the Edens Expressway in Northfield early Monday.
In the video, Keef can be heard saying, "That's a fast car, that's why I bought it" when an officer tells him his speed.
Keef has had confrontations offline with police before, such as when he pointed a gun at police officers in 2011. He served 60 days in juvenile detention for violating his probation on that offense and was released in March.
