CHICAGO — Neko Case, Aimee Mann with Ted Leo and Young the Giant are among the musicians set to headline September's A.V. Fest/Hideout Block Party, organizers announced Tuesday.
Tickets for the fest are on sale at $60 for two-day passes, though organizers warn those prices could increase to $70, plus fees. Early bird passes sold out before the headliners were announced.
The lineup includes Young the Giant, Neko Case, Mavis Staples, The Hold Steady, Superchunk, The Walkmen, Trampled by Turtles, The Both (Aimee Mann and Ted Leo), Nude Beach, Jon Langford, Girl Group Chicago and Vision Celestial Guitarkestra.
The fest takes place Sept. 6-7 at The Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia St.
The Hideout Block Party is going into its 17th year, and the venue recently combined forces with A.V. Club, the arts and entertainment wing of The Onion, to produce the fest.
Food trucks and and drinks from Lagunitas and Mike's Hard Lemonade will be on hand to refresh fest goers, organizers said.
