SOUTH LOOP — Two men were wounded late Friday morning in a shooting at State Street and Roosevelt Road, police said.
The shooting happened at 11 a.m. near the Roosevelt CTA station, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.
A 57-year-old man was standing at a bus stop just east of State Street and was grazed on the leg, police said.
Another man, 30, was grazed by a bullet on his back, police said.
Both men were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.
"It's generally a safe neighborhood. This is the first time I've ever seen anything like this around here," said Chandan Dasgupta, 30, who lives in an apartment building nearby.
