"Some GOOD NEWS! Our Lillie's Q Bucktown location is slated to re-open in mid-June — pending inspections and permitting. We can't wait to open up our doors again and feed all of you!"
The post continued, "We're all so grateful for the tremendous love and support you all have shown over the last few months following our fire. Please tell all your friends the good news! Share, retweet, shout it from your windows! We love you all!"
Lillie's Q opened in Bucktown in 2010 on the northeast corner of Wolcott and North Avenues at 1856 W. North Ave.
A basement water heater caught fire March 14 and caused the restaurant to close indefinitely.
Owner Charlie McKenna told the Tribune Thursday that "reconstruction has been proceeding smoothly and well ahead of schedule."
In January, Lillie's Q added a second Chicago location at the French Market, 131 N. Clinton St. The original Lillie's Q, started by chef McKenna's award-winning pitmaster parents, is in Destin, Fla.
Though the French Market location was closed briefly following the Bucktown fire, it reopened March 23 with a limited menu.
