LINCOLN PARK — Twerk-loving DJ Diplo will headline DePaul University's annual FEST, which also will feature Minus the Bear, Yelawolf and an afterhours performance by Dillon Francis.

The highly anticipated event, which was headlined by Lupe Fiasco last year, will be held on the school's Lincoln Park campus quad on May 24.

Tickets for the festival are limited to DePaul students. Tickets are $10 each and two tickets can be purchased by a student with one ID.

The return of Diplo and talent from his label, Mad Decent, comes less than a year after the Mad Decent Block Party was shut down in the West Loop when dozens of attendees rushed the gates.

That block party, a free all-day event that tours U.S. cities, will not be returning to Chicago this year.

Dillon Francis, who will be performing the afterparty at 9:30 p.m. inside McGrath Arena, is also on the Mad Decent label.

Tickets for FEST can be purchased at both the Loop and Lincoln park campuses starting May 13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will be available from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at both campuses on May 14. On May 15 and 16, tickets will be available from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The DePaul Activities Board will be block-selling tickets to FEST this year, meaning each day there will be a limited number of tickets available at the Lincoln Park campus' student center and Loop campus' DePaul Center North Cafe on the 11th floor.

The 2012 FEST lineup included Lupe Fiasco, Battles and Portugal The Man, while the 2011 lineup included Wiz Khalifa and Chromeo.
