Wu-Tang Clan, Afrojack, Big Gigantic to Headline North Coast Fest

CHICAGO — Hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan is headlining the North Coast Music Festival this summer, organizers announced Thursday.

The festival, which takes place Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 in Union Park on the Near West Side, will also feature headliners Afrojack, Big Gigantic and NaS.

Wu-Tang Clan will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album "Enter the Wu-Tang Clan (36 Chambers)" by performing it in full at the fest.

This is the fourth year for North Coast, which highlights emerging artists "while still keeping everyone dancing" with hip-hop, EDM, sould, inidie and jam music.

Three-day passes can be purchased at clubtix.com for $135.

Additional performers announced Thursday are The Disco Biscuits, Lotus, Mac Miller, Gary Clark Jr., Rebelution, Purity Ring, Laidback Luke, Datsik, Madeon, Paper Diamond, Laidback Luke, Datsik, Madeon, Paper Diamond, Skream, Claude VonStroke, RL Grime, Aloe Blacc, AlunaGeorge, Just Blaze, Capital Cities, JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound, El Ten Eleven, Cherub, Poolside, Flatbush Zombies, ON AN ON, Thibault, K.Flay and Dean Cohen.
