Man Shot on Far South Side

CHICAGO — A man was in seriously condition after he was shot in Roseland Tuesday morning, police said.

The 21-year-old man was shot in the chest on the street in the 11300 block of South Michigan Avenue about 11 a.m., said Officer John Mirabelli, a police spokesman. 

He was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Mirabelli said.

Some men were seen fleeing after the shooting, Mirabelli said. No one is in custody.
