CHICAGO — Three men were injured in shootings on the North and South sides Monday night, police said.

About 8:15 p.m., police responded to a call of a person shot and found a 32-year-old man wounded on a sidewalk in the 7200 block of South Carpenter Street in Auburn Gresham, said officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition with bullet wounds in his neck, face, chest and arms, police said.

Earlier, just before 6 p.m., two men were shot in the 7300 block of North Damen Avenue in Rogers Park.

A 20-year-old was shot in the hip, abdomen and arm and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was listed in "stable" condition, Alfaro said. A 19-year-old was shot in his chest and taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he was also listed in "stable" condition, Alfaro said.

No one was in custody for either incidents.
