David Cassidy of 'Partridge Family' Fame to Perform at Market Days

BOYSTOWN — David Cassidy, the actor and singer best known as 1970s teen idol Keith Partridge, will be performing in Chicago this summer.

Cassidy, 62, is in the lineup for the annual street fair Market Days, according to organizers Northalsted Business Alliance.

He joins performers "Wonder Woman" Lynda Carter and '90s trio Wilson Phillips.

Since being a family member on the musical and sitcom "The Partridge Family," Cassidy has debuted several solo albums and has appeared as a contestant on "The Apprentice." Cassidy is also the voice behind Patridge Family hit "I Think I Love You." 

Market Days is an annual two-day street festival with music and food and arts vendors on Halsted Street between Belmont and Addison. This year's festival will run Aug. 10 and Aug. 11, with Cassidy performing on Sunday.
