CHICAGO — A woman was robbed of two bags full of cash she carried into a Loop bank lobby for depositing, police said.

The robbery occurred in the 100 block of South LaSalle Street about 5:45 p.m. Thursday when the woman walked into the bank and bumped into a man, police said.

The collision caused the woman to drop her bags, which the man grabbed and ran out of the lobby with, police said.

No one has been arrested and police did not have a description of the robber available Friday morning.

It's uncertain how much money the woman was carrying inside the bags, police said.
