Man Shot in Both Legs Walks into Hospital

CHICAGO — A man shot in both legs walked into Mount Sinai Hospital Thursday afternoon, police said.

A man in his 30s walked into the hospital about 12:30 p.m. after he was shot in both legs in the 4300 block of South Campbell Avenue in Brighton Park, said officer John Mirabelli, a police spokesman. He was reported in "stable" condition in the afternoon, Mirabelli said.

It was unsure whether he drove himself or was driven by someone else to the hospital. Officers went to the block where he was shot and were investigating, Mirabelli said.
