CHICAGO — Police are warning Near West Side residents of a recent spike in burglaries.
The burglars enter through a door or window. The burglaries have occurred at "various hours of the day," police said in a community alert.
The burglaries have occurred near:
- 3100 Block of West Augusta Boulevard on March 19
- 1300 Block of West Hubbard Street on March 19
- 1600 Block of West Superior Street on March 19
- 1200 Block of West Augusta Boulevard on March 21
- 800 Block of North Marshfield Avenue on March 23
- 1400 Block of West Huron Street on March 24
- 2000 Block of West Division Street on March 27
- 300 Block of North Canal Street on March 28
- 2700 Block of West Augusta Boulevard on March 31
- 1300 Block of West Walton Street on April 1
