CHICAGO — Police are investigating after the body of a woman was found in Douglas Park in North Lawndale Sunday afternoon.
The woman, later identified as Janice Prince, 49, of the 7900 block of South Hermitage Avenue in Auburn Gresham, was found about 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
She had suffered blunt-force trauma, police said.
As of Monday morning, no further information was available.
