Woman Escapes Attemped Sexual Assault After Being Forced Into Alley

CHICAGO — A woman escaped an attempted sexual assault after being forced into an alley by two men in South Lawndale Friday night, police said.

The men grabbed the 20-year-old woman from behind about 10 p.m. in the 2400 block of South Homan Avenue, according to a community alert.

The men carried the woman to an alley and attempted to sexually assault her. She was able to escape when two other men walked up and began arguing with the suspects, police said.

One suspect is described as Hispanic, standing 5-foot-4, weighing between 130 and 140 pounds and wearing a black hoodie, blue baggy pants, a half ski mask and black gym shoes.

The second suspect is described as Hispanic, standing 5-foot-7, weighing between 150 and 160 pounds and wearing a black hoodie, black baggy pants, a half ski mask and black gym shoes, the alert said.
