Blue Line Service Back to Normal After Train Car Catches Fire

CHICAGO — Blue Line trains are running normally after service was disrupted are not running due to debris on the tracks.

Fire officials said an inbound train caught fire near the Medical District stop after a tire on the track ignited. No injuries, and the fire was extinguished quickly.

Trains are only operating from O'Hare to UIC Halsted and from Pulaski and Forest Park.
