CHICAGO — A car collided with a train in Hegewisch early Sunday morning, police said.
The car was apparently trying to go around the tracks on the 2400 block of East 130th Street about 1:50 a.m. when the collision occurred, said Officer Michael Sullivan, a police spokesman.
The driver was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition, Sullivan said.
No further information was available.
