CHICAGO — Police are warning Grand Crossing residents of recent robberies in the area.

The robbers use physical force, and sometimes show a knife or handgun, to take items from people in the area near 7100 S. Martin Luther King Drive, according to a community alert issued Thursday.

The men are described as black, between the ages of 19 and 25, and standing between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot.

Police ask anyone with information to call 312-747-8380.
