CHICAGO — After nine days of construction and disruption, the Wells Street bridge is set to reopen to Brown and Purple Line trains Monday.

Workers replaced part of the 90-year-old bridge, causing confusion among some commuters. But things will be back to normal in time for Monday's rush hour.

However, commuters should prepare for a second round of work, as the other half of the bridge will be replaced from April 26-May 6.
