CHICAGO — Two men were injured Friday night and early Saturday in shootings across Chicago.

An 18-year-old man was driving on the 2400 block of South Rockwell in South Lawndale at about 3 a.m. Saturday when he said he heard gunshots and was hit in the lower left side of his back, police said.

He drove himself to St. Anthony Hospital where he was treated and is in good condition, according to police.

The victim was unable to give a description of the gunman and no one is in custody, police said.

At about 11 p.m. Friday, a 37-year-old man was shot in the right leg on the 6800 block of South Wood Street in West Englewood, according to police.

The man was standing on the sidewalk when an unknown gunman approached him and fired, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition, police said.
