Kristin Cavallari And Jay Cutler Register for Wedding Gifts ... Again

By Patty Wetli | March 6, 2013 7:36am | Updated on March 6, 2013 11:15am

CHICAGO — Oh, Kristin Cavallari, fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice, shame on us.

People magazine reported Tuesday that the former "Hills" star and her Chicago Bears fiance Jay Cutler have registered, again, for wedding gifts at Williams-Sonoma. Additional sleuthing by DNAinfo.com Chicago turned up a second registry at Crate & Barrel.

Both listed the wedding date as July 13, 2013, with Crate & Barrel tipping Tennessee as the location.

But you might want to wait a week or two before pretend-purchasing the couple a Breville Panini Press (on sale for $119.95 and back-ordered until March 13) or Cha Cha Pitcher ($29.95, in stock and ready to ship).

We've been through this drill before.

Those who jumped the gun when Cavallari's original registry was publicized in 2011 — serving up a picture of the couple mashing potatoes and reaming lemons happily ever after — saw their hopes temporarily dashed when a split was announced in July of the same year.

By November 2011, Cavallari was again sporting an engagement ring, and baby Camden arrived in August 2012. Perhaps the second time's the charm for this on-again, off-again, on-again duo.

Cavallari certainly seems in nesting mode, signing up for no fewer than nine cookbooks, a wok and rice cooker. She also seems to have saved herself for marriage, at least when it comes to KitchenAid, registering for that classic bridal rite of passage, the Artisan Stand Mixer (in Majestic Yellow, a Williams-Sonoma exclusive).

And Bears fans, look for Cutler to report to training camp sporting a few extra pounds. Someone asked for 48 dessert plates.
