LAKEVIEW — Green, green, green.

If you want this green space, you better have some dough. A house near the Southport shopping corridor with a large, grassy back yard just went back on the market at a reduced price, but it's still listed at $2.75 million.

The five-bedroom, 3.5-bath house at 3500 N. Janssen Ave. left the market in November after six months, ending with a $2.85 million price tag, according to real estate website Zillow. Coldwell Banker agent Jennifer Ames put it back up last week with a 3.3 percent reduction.

It was last sold in 2003 for $1.93 million and underwent an interior renovation in 2005, including a new renovated catering kitchen, updated bathrooms and a reconstruction of original molding. The 6,400-square-foot home was originally built in 1901 and includes a rooftop deck, a finished attic, a media room and a library with a fireplace.

Property taxes for the house for 2011 cost $17,131, Ames said.
