LINCOLN SQUARE — Grab your beret, adopt an attitude of superiority and head to Bistro Campagne for a culinary tour of France's Burgundy region.
Throughout March, the restaurant, 4518 N. Lincoln Ave., will present a separate menu focusing on the foods and wines of Burgundy, home to coq au vin and some of the world's finest Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs.
Chef Adam Dittmer, carrying on the traditions of Bistro Campagne's late founder Michael Altenberg, will switch up the menu frequently over the course of the month.
His opening salvo of dishes, served over the weekend, included seared sweetbreads and Burgundy's trademark beef bourguignon.
The celebration of all things Burgundy will culminate with a five-course wine dinner March 27.
Bistro Campagne will release menu updates and additional details on the five-course dinner via Facebook and the restaurant's email newsletter.
