CHICAGO — A man robbed a bank in Hyde Park Friday morning, officials said.

The man entered a Fifth Third Bank branch in the 1400 block of East 53rd Street about 9:30 a.m. and demanded money from the teller, police said.

The bank teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money and he fled on foot, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

No one was injured, and the man did not show a weapon, Estrada said.
