CHICAGO — A Loop bank was robbed Thursday afternoon, officials said.
The Citibank branch at 180 N. Michigan Ave. was robbed about 1:15 p.m., according to the FBI and police.
The man, described as a black male standing about 5-foot-5 and wearing a black down coat, made his demands through a note and then fled, according to Special Agent Joan Hyde, FBI spokeswoman.
Agents were still on the scene as of about 3 p.m., Hyde said.
