LINCOLN SQUARE — Hey, hey it's a Monkee. Michael Nesmith is among the artists scheduled to perform at the Old Town School of Folk Music this spring.

Nesmith, who's embarking on his first solo U.S. tour in more than 30 years, is just one of the marquee names to be found in Old Town's concert lineup from April through June.

Rufus Wainwright will grace the stage at Maurer Hall April 14 with his singular baroque pop stylings, perhaps channeling Judy Garland.

Adam Schlesinger and Chris Collingwood of the pop band Fountains of Wayne will play a rare acoustic set on April 20.

Other highlights include an international mandolin spectacular and a tribute to the 60th anniversary of Chicago's Delmark Records, the oldest independent American jazz and blues record label.

Old Town School's annual fundraiser, the Blue Jean Gala, is scheduled for April 18. The concert features Alison Krauss, performing with Union Station bandmate Dan Tyminski, as well as Kris Kristofferson.

Tickets for the spring season go on sale Friday for Old Town members and March 8 for the general public.
