CHICAGO — A bank robber known as the "Bully Bandit" hit his ninth Chicago area bank Friday afternoon, according to the FBI.

The man walked into Chase Bank at 3339 W. Belmont Ave. about 2:20 p.m. He walked toward the teller window and "loudly and agressively" announced he was robbing the bank, according to the FBI.

In previous robberies, the "Bully Bandit" has shown a weapon, but at Chase Bank Friday, he kept his hand underneath his hoodie to imply he had one, official said.

The bandit wore a dark-colored hoodie, dark pants, gym shoes and covered his face, as he has done before, with a black scarf.

The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described as Hispanic, in his late 20s or early 30s and standing at 5-foot-8. He has a mustache and often wears a dark-colored hoodie, official said.

The FBI is offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the "Bully Bandit's" capture and asks anyone with information to call 312-421-6700.

According to the FBI, the "Bully Bandit" is believed to have previously robbed:
