The man, identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as Steven Cannon, suffered multiple injuries after several men attacked him, police said.
Witnesses told cops the attackers punched Cannon in his body and face, police said. One of the men clobbered Cannon over the head with a bottle, causing him to lose consciousness and fall to the ground. He was taken to Stroger Hospital.
