CHICAGO — Rush hour could be "very problematic" because of snow and slippery conditions, according to the National Weather Service.

Visibility distance could be as short as a quarter of a mile, and afternoon commuters should allow extra time for travel, according to the National Weather Service.

Temps will hover around the freezing mark through the evening with early morning temperatures Wednesday in the upper teens, according to accuweather.com.

Wednesday's forecast is the lower 30s with some sun. Thursday, look for ice and rain and a high temperature of 37.
