Gunshot Wound to Face Leaves Man Hospitalized

LITTLE VILLAGE — A man was shot in the face and back Sunday morning, police said.

The 22-year-old unidentified man was on the 2700 block of West 24th Place when he was shot at about 7:56 a.m. according to police.

A bundle of clothes remained in the street surrounded by police tape about an hour later.

Police said the man was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

No one is currently in custody.
