ROGERS PARK — Police arrested a Rogers Park mother-and-son duo on charges of dealing heroin and cocaine to Evanston residents.

An Evanston Police special drug unit searched the suspects' apartment in the 7600 block of North Sheridan Road in Rogers Park at 11:30 p.m. Thursday. Officers found more than 200 grams of marijuana, 5 grams of cocaine and 1 gram of heroin, police said.

"There was an indication drug sales were coming from the house to Evanston residents," said Evanston Police Cmdr. Jay Parrott.

Officers from Chicago's Rogers Park Police District assisted in the arrests, he said.

Lisa Terry, 45 and her son, Maurice Terry, 22, were charged with felony drug possession with intent to sell.

The two are scheduled to appear in court Feb. 6 in Skokie.
