Two Men in Serious Condition after South Side Shooting

CHICAGO — Two men were in serious condition after each of them was shot in the leg in Chicago Lawn Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

The two men were shot just after 4 p.m. in the 6400 block of South Western Avenue, police said.

One 19-year-old man was shot in the right leg and one 20-year-old man was shot in the left leg, police said.

One was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital in serious condition, while one was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, also in serious condition, Chicago Fire Department officials said.
