EAST GARFIELD PARK — Luis Saucedo’s body was found decomposed inside the trunk of his car on the West Side in March.

Police found the body on the 500 block of South Denvir Avenue around 6:30 p.m. on March 17, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Family members believe Saucedo, 59, was killed elsewhere before his body was stuffed into the trunk of the car, which was found near Harrison and Western,  according to an ABC Chicago report.

Police suspect robbery was the motive in Saucedo’s death, the report stated.

According to the report, Saucedo sold jewelry at flea markets and out of his home.

“He loved his daughters very much,” Saucedo’s niece, Cherise Lile, told the station.
