CHICAGO — The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is investigating the death of a suburban toddler.

Miracle Williams, 15 months, was found unresponsive Sunday at a home in the 9300 block of South East End Avenue. She lived in the 21600 block of Peterson Avenue in Sauk Village.

Police said a death investigation is under way. DCFS spokesman David Clarkin said the department is looking into the role Miracle's baby sitter may have played in the child's death.
