CHICAGO — A man was in serious condition from a gunshot wound to the back after an apparent armed robbery in Gage Park Wednesday, police said.
The man, who is in his 50's, was shot about 5:20 p.m. in the 5600 block of South Western Avenue, police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition. It appeared to have been a robbery or attempted robbery, police said.
