CHICAGO — The driver of a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer died after driving into a parked truck early Monday morning in Pilsen, police said.
The crash occurred at 3:45 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Ashland Avenue, police spokesman Amina Greer said. The driver was the only occupant of either vehicle and was found dead on arrival. No other injuries were reported, police said.
The collision shut down traffic except for CTA buses along South Ashland Avenue from West 31st Place to South Blue Island Avenue until later in the morning, authorities said.
No other information was immediately available.
