QUEENS — A couple was killed in an apparent murder-suicide at a Jamaica home late Sunday night, authorities said.

Roxanne Lambert, 41, and Everol Ellington, 32, were found in their bedroom at 112-44 Dillon St. shortly after 11:30 p.m. by their 2-year-old son with gunshot wounds to their heads, sources said. Lambert's 17-year-son later called 911 from a neighbor's home, sources and witnesses said.

"Their young son...ran over to my place, asking me to call the police, because 'My mom and dad are dead!'" said Renee Bryan, who lives in the home next door.

Lambert and Ellington were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

"It was just shocking," Bryan added. "I'm so lost for words."

Investigators believe Ellington shot Lambert in the head before taking his own life, sources said. Police recovered the handgun at the scene.

There was no suicide note in the home, sources said.

Bryan said she saw Lambert hours before shooting.

"She was just laughing...and said, 'Good night,' and 'See you tomorrow.'"
