MANHATTAN — Bar on A, an East Village hangout that survived for the better part of two decades before its owner passed away last year, is now on the market, according to an online listing noted Friday on the blog EV Grieve.
The low-key watering hole, restaurant and performance space, opened shop on Avenue A and East 11th Street 17 years ago, the listing said.
Owner Bob Scarrano passed away last February, EV Greive reported.
A 10-year lease on the space was listed at $13,500-a-month plus a $265,000 deposit.
