LOWER EAST SIDE — A man in his mid-30s was rushed to Bellevue Medical Center after being stabbed in Wednesday evening in the Lower East Side, the fire department said.

The man, who was not identified, was attacked at Rutgers and Cherry streets around 7:20 p.m., according to police. The man is reportedly in stable condition.

There are no arrests and an investigation is ongoing.
