MIDTOWN — The hits keep on coming for "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark."
The Department of Labor cited the production with two safety violations stemming from a December incident where stuntman Christopher Tierney plunged into the audience, the New York Post reported.
Show producers told the Post that all production was now in compliance with the violations, which did not carry any fines.
Critics lambasted the show after a preview performance last week but ticket sales of the production, at $65 million the most expensive in Broadway history, were still strong.
Tierney was one of several actors to suffer injuries from the show's high-flying stunts.
With a book written by acclaimed director Julie Taymor and music produced by U2's Bono and The Edge, "Spider-Man" is set to open March 15 at the Foxwoods Theater.
