MANHATTAN — Police are searching for three men accused of mugging a man in Central Park at gunpoint over the weekend.

The trio accosted a 56-year-old man in Central Park about 8:50 p.m. on Saturday, near West 101 Street and West Drive, which winds along the park's West side, police said.

The victim told police that he was walking in the area when one of the men approached him with a gun.

The three men then demanded his wallet, which he handed over before the suspects fled, police said.

The suspects are all described as Hispanic men in their early 20's, about 5-foot-10, and between 170 and 180lbs.

One of the men had a beard. Another wore a red jacket with white sleeves, while a third wore a multi-colored jacket and a Yankee hat, police said.
