The 55-year-old Long Island man was riding on the Bruckner Expressway Monday when he lost control. 

Rosa Ramirez, a mother of five, was fatally struck on the Bruckner Expressway, police and family said.

The victim was crossing the expressway when a motorcycle rider hit her and drove off, police said.

He was pronounced dead at Lincoln Medical Center, police said.

Wendell Cheeseboro, 29, was pronounced dead at Jacobi Hospital.

Michael Williams was thrown from an NYPD van when it crashed in Hunts Point, police said.

The car skidded off the expressway, falling to the service road below, witnesses said.

A second passenger was in critical condition after the morning crash, and a third hospitalized.

A local graffiti artist depicted Ruby Bridges, the first black child to attend an all-white school.

Now that the city has finished a major plan to reform the troubled highway, locals want it implemented.

City planners previewed their recommendations Tuesday, which community groups mostly backed.
