KIPS BAY — The NYPD is asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a 23-year-old woman walking near East 25th Street and the FDR Drive on Nov 6.
Police are looking for Andrey Ignatyev, a 49-year-old homeless man, as a suspect in the 5 a.m. attack, NYPD officials said.
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
