92YTribeca hosts a historic walking tour of TrIBeCa.

Once one man's great estate, then the prototype of Gramercy, Tribeca became one of the city centers for food processing in the 19th and 20th centuries. More recently, the area has become home to hip families, charming shops, numerous art galleries and exciting restaurants.

The tour is about one and a half hours long.

Meet at 92YTribeca, 200 Hudson Street at 10:30 a.m.

Walk leader Joyce Gold is a teacher of Manhattan history at The New School and NYU and the author of two NYC walking guides.

Tickets are $28
