"Bold as Love" magazine books editor Bridgett M. Davis curates this new series at The Sackett, featuring "accomplished writers across a wide range of genres, all part of a progressive black literary tradition," according to the magazine's website.

The Feb. 17 reading will "present three writers who offer their idiosyncratic takes on that many-splintered thing we call love."
