The New York City Ballet will perform excerpts at the Guggenheim on Sept. 23 and 24 from its October premiere of choreographer Justin Peck, featuring music by singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens.

New York City Ballet principals Ashley Bouder, Joaquin De Luz, Robert Fairchild, Craig Hall, Teresa Reichlen, and Janie Taylor will perform the exceprts that are part of a piece to premiere on Oct. 5

Peck will discuss his creative process, including his collaboration with Stevens on the orchestration for the production commissioned by NYCB.

The event is part of the museum's performing arts series that champions new works, offers audiences unprecedented access to leading creators and performers and hosts receptions for the audiences and artists.
