The Spanish artist Manolo Valdés creates seven large-scale sculptures just for the Botanical Garden. They include "Fiore, a 17-foot-high bronze and steel work inspired by oak and maple trees; Butterflies, a 50-foot-wide aluminum piece; and Ivy, a 15-foot-tall aluminum structure reminiscent of palm leaves."

One sculpture, a 50 foot, bronze and steel lattice work headdress of Alhambra, creates a maze for visitors to walk through.

Garden tickets start at $20 for adults and $8 for children under 12. The Garden is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
