The Museum of Chinese in America presents an exhibition looking at the relationship between Asian-Americans and how they've been represented in comic book art. The controversial and at times stereotypical images of Asian Americans in comics has had a long legacy, dating back to the 1940s. It will also present contemporary Asian-American comic artists who use the medium to tell their own stories, including writers and creators including Ken Chen, Larry Hama, David Henry Hwang, Vijay Prashad, and Gene Luen Yang.
