The Brooklyn Museum will host In Conversation: Gentrification and Globalization on Thursday, January 10 at 7 p.m. Speakers will discuss how creative urbanites and local communities can work together to combat gentrification.

Panelists include Mitty Owens, deputy director of Families United for Racial and Economic Equality, Risë Wilson, founder of the Laundromat Project, and Sarah Schulman, author of book The Gentrification of The Mind: Witness to a Lost Imagination, among others.
