The Center for Jewish History will host a panel discussion on brisket's history and emergence as a cult food Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 6 p.m. The talk will be moderated by James Beard Foundation vice president Mitchell Davis and will include New York Times reporter Julia Moskin, Mile End deli owner Noah Bernamoff and Stephanie Pierson, author of "The Brisket Book: A Love Story with Recipes."
