First Person Plural Reading Series

The new Harlem reading series First Person Plural, launched by three Harlem writers— Stacy Parker Le Melle, Wendy S. Walters and Amy Benson— returns on Sept. 10 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Shrine World Music Venue.

The event features Paul La Farge and Lynne Tillman, and art duo LoVid. The authors will read pieces in first person plural, or a collective voice, and may also read from other recent work.

Admission is free. 

Shrine is located at 2271 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard between 133rd and 134th streets.
